Yeah, last few days I've been on a drawing/sketching frenzy. More sketching then anything though. I've used some of the tutorials I've found on DA advice and progressed my artistic ability some. Or I would like to think some of my stuff looks better. Mostly I think out of all things I can draw, the male human body is the most natural thing I can draw quickly and efficently. The female human body is getting there, but I have numberous problems with the breasts and shoulder alignments. I'm way too ridged with my female bodies, its like I try to unconscienciously force male characteristics onto female bodies. I need to get out of that bad habit.

Yeah, lame 300 reference but whatever. I've been on the outs with my drawings and such. Went since like August without a single picture drawn. In that time though I've seen a few movies. Juno, The Great Debaters, and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. I like those movies alot, especially Juno, since I went into that movie like, "Wtf, I dun want to see this shit" What a freakin' suprise. Soundtrack to that movie is also fantastic. Must watch movie folks. Go see it. Well anyways, enough of me promoting shit. I plan on working on a few original pieces of artwork in the next few days, though I have no idea when they'll all be ready b

I've been feeling unartistic lately that has put me in a slump creatively. The day before yesterday I had a terrible drawing/sketching day. It was horrible for the most part, but I got through it toward the end of the day and things were back to normal kinda. I was upset the day didnt go as I had originally planned. Personally I need to work on a few more minor things in my work that came out that day. Finding out I cant draw cliche anime chick bodies. I tend to draw them a little meatier, with curves. Thats nothing wrong though, I just want to draw traditional anime-ish bodies. My graphing is also off some, the balance in the facial departme
